Fundraising, Elections & Wombats
Hello families,
We're getting into our busiest part of our fundraising, and we appreciate your continued support. Our Cherrydale Fundraiser is coming to a close at the end of this month so still some time to get those orders in! We're partnering with a local BBQ company if you're looking for an alternative Thanksgiving meal. And don't forget to vote for your School Council Rep!
In other important October news, October 22 is International Wombat Day! Take a moment to celebrate these lovable Australian marsupials and learn a little about the challenges they face as habitat loss continues to threaten their future.
We're also giving our website a refresh. If you have a moment to browse, you'll find updated information and resources designed to make it easier to stay connected and informed - https://www.cambridgestreetpco.org/
Thank you, as always, for being such a wonderful part of our school community

Cherrydale Fundraising Update: Our big fundraiser will close October 30th, and we’re aiming for at least $1,500 to support important student and community needs this year.
If you haven’t registered yet, please take a moment — it truly helps: https://www.shopfund.com/parentregister : Group Code: BMLF8
Students/families who register and add 10 contacts get entered into a drawing with over 1,000 prizes (Apple AirPods, MacBook Pros, Visa gift cards, and more). Plus — the first 50 students who add 10 contacts will get a prize at school! Get Registered NOW at: FundPrizes.com
If you don’t want to sign up, no worries — just reach out to another parent you know to ask if they signed up and they can pass along a registration link and you can place an order through that link.
We're still currently at $417 of our $1,500 goal - we can do this!

School Council Elections:
Voting started Friday 16th October: cast your ballot anytime from Friday straight through the end of October. It’s quick, it’s easy, and it genuinely helps shape the work we do for our school community.
We’re excited to launch Coffee, Council & Chat — a relaxed space for families to connect with the parent representatives on the School Council. Join us in person for a cup of coffee and conversation, or hop into our virtual option if that’s easier for your schedule.
It’s an open opportunity to share what’s on your mind, ask questions, and let us know how the School Council can support you and your child this year. Come for the chat, stay for the community — we’d love to see you, wherever you join from.
We will have our first meet up: Tuesday Oct 20th 5.30-6.30pm Valente Library.
