RACE: THE POWER OF AN ILLUSION: THE HOUSE WE LIVE IN
"All of us are in a midst of cultural journey with past experiences that have shaped our views and informed our choices. ALL of you have something to offer to a diversity discussion. We have much to learn from each other about our diverse racial, cultural and socio- economic experiences. We want to hear your voice, appreciate your perspective and understand your cultural lens" - Manuel Fernandez (Principal, Cambridge Street Upper School)
Diversity Dialogues will present Part Three of the PBS film Race: The Power of an Illusion which is entitled The House We Live In. Dinner will be provided at 6:00 pm; the video will begin at 6:30 and the dialogues will be facilitated by the CSUS Cultural Proficiency Team.
The series is open to ALL adult members of the CSUS community. The general goal is to raise consciousness and to develop affirming relationships across the racial-cultural divide.
We hope to see you there!
